Security, Confidentiality and Privacy Event - February 9th 2011
We invite you to a forthcoming event held by one of our partners, leading law firm Field Fisher Waterhouse, which we believe will be of great interest to those who are responsible for Information Assurance in their organisation. Dr. Guy Bunker from ExecIA will be there providing his view on the subject. As spaces are limited we suggested a rapid response.
Accountability: From Theory to Action
On 9th February Field Fisher Waterhouse are holding the first session in their 2011 Work Programme for security, confidentiality and privacy and you are invited to join us for drinks and nibbles, to discuss the key issues of the day and to network with your peers. These Evening Events replace the award-winning Data Security Breakfast Briefings and will discuss a new topic each month.
Session 1 will discuss new legal requirements for "accountability", what this means in practice and how this is filtering into legislation. We will also look at practical tools for delivering accountability into our operations. For those who are new to the topic of accountability, this is about adopting systems and operations to ensure compliance with the law and is one of the hottest topics within data protection for 2011.
There is no charge for this event and places are very limited. Please do not register unless you are sure that you can attend!
