ExecIA provides independent advice and services to end users and vendors as well as value added resellers (VARs) and system integrators (SIs).

Why do we work for both end user customers and vendors?

End user customers need to articulate both their immediate requirements and longer term aspirations, to be able to put vendors' offerings together into solutions that will deliver lasting value and benefit to their organisation. We work through the use of tools and a proven methodology with key stakeholders to assess the current Information Assurance capability and create a plan to improve it to the desired maturity level.

Information Assurance and Information Security

Information assurance implies both information security and efficient and effective use of information systems. As such, it relies not only on technology but also on policy and process creation and development and on alignment with business priorities. Increasingly, customers are looking to VARs and SIs for this service. ExecIA works with these groups of people to train them in the use of specifically developed tools, such as the ExecIA Controls Assessment product (ECA) so that they can deliver a better service to their customers.

The team draws on years of working in both the vendor and end-user communities. Our approach is therefore realistic and practical; enabling us to bring to bear our experience to understand and interpret what vendors offer; what vendors say they offer; what end users say they want and what end users really want.
